Creating Transactions from Orders, Mission Control, and Custom Objects

orders and mission control by default, breadwinner is set up to create transactions (invoices, bills, and purchase orders) from opportunities however, breadwinner professional and business also natively support creating these transactions from the salesforce order object and the mission control "billing event" object to enable this functionality for these objects, the installer must create a lookup relationship from the breadwinner invoice object to the order object or the mc billing event object that will bring the invoices related list onto the respective object and enable auto populating the invoice fields from fields on the order or billing event objects custom objects breadwinner can create invoices, bills, and pos from salesforce custom objects there are typical scenarios we work with a custom object with a child object together, this object/child object makes up the invoice and the line items a custom object that becomes both the invoice and the line items this could be a custom object or even an opportunity in this scenario, there are fields on the record itself that should become line items so, a single record could create an invoice and unlimited line items a custom object that becomes the invoice unusual, as this would require you to manually enter at least one line item, but possible third party invoicing the recipient of an invoice is not the account associated with the opportunity/order/custom object example a school orders supplies but the school district is billed implementation the creation of transactions from custom objects requires breadwinner business and the "custom guided wizard" add on if your organization has subscribed to these components, you can request an onboarding session (typically a 30 45min zoom call) during which we will create with you the first 'custom button,' which is used to start the guided invoice creation process the documentation we use for this is linked to here https //docs google com/document/d/1diu5skw ygbv 3gos7l4gbdmhcfrhoumdbnvcf u0jm/edit?usp=sharing
