Breadwinner can create Transactions/Payments, Customers, and Payment Methods from an Account or Contact.
Creating the Transaction
To get started, first make sure you have installed Breadwinner Payments in your Salesforce Org. You will then need to connect to your payment processor (Stripe, Braintree, or Square). Once the processor is connected, Breadwinner will bring all historical data (Customers, Payment Methods, and Payments) into Salesforce. Breadwinner allows you to match your payment processor Contacts and Accounts to those already in Salesforce. The Page layouts will be updated based on the Customer match–if you have matched your Customers with Salesforce Accounts, you'll be able to update the Account page layouts and vice versa.
Once you have updated your page layouts, go to any Account/Contact and look for a "New Transaction" button.

Confirm or Create a New Customer
This will start the Guided Wizard. The first step is to confirm (or create) the Customer.
At this stage, you may
- confirm one of the Customers in your payment processor that are already associated with this Salesforce Account/Contact
- create a new Customer

Confirm or Create New a Payment Method
Once you confirm/create the Customer, you need to confirm the payment method to be charged. Breadwinner allows you to add both cards and bank accounts to the Customer (just like your payment processor!).
At this stage, you may
- confirm/choose the existing payment methods of the Customer
- create a new Payment Method

Create a Transaction
After confirming the payment method, you'll be redirected to the "Charge Customer" section:

After confirming the payment details, click the "Charge Card" button to create the payment in the payment processor. Breadwinner will push the transaction into your payment processor in real-time, then automatically sync it back to Salesforce.
Note: creation buttons will be disabled when you are in Breadwinner Read-Only mode
After creating the Transaction
You can then review the newly created Transaction.
