In the example below, we will show you how to use the email field on the Breadwinner Customer object and the 'email' metadata field on the Stripe Transaction. This is not only limited to email as it can be any text field.

First, you need to go into a Stripe Transaction and decide which metadata field you want to link with.

Next, log into Salesforce.

- Click on the Breadwinner tab and go to the Transaction section under Setup | Configuration | Transactions
- Choose the appropriate field from the Customer dropdown list (Email in this case)
- Type in the word 'email' in the Metadata/Customer field in the Processor text box
- Click 'Save'

The next time the historical sync runs, all the Stripe transactions that have matching values in those two fields will be linked to the customer.

Limitations

- Matching will be skipped if there are multiple customers with the same value in the selected Breadwinner Customer field.
